Id love for a new, high cap .45 carbine out on the market. Wonder what this cost though.

Looks like it's based on the MAC-10 (in a closed bolt setup). I don't know if it's worth $600, though.

I've got a pair of their MPA30Ts"Mac-10s" in 9mm w/ the screw on fake suppressor cans.....

The gun is pretty fun to shoot, but its kind of a POS...
It looks really poorly made and a real pain in the A$$ to load the 32rnd mags...
Its one of those guns thats really just a conversation peice more than useful...
You can bump fire it pretty fast to the point that it almost sounds full auto... Never jams, eats up the crappy ammo, so thats a plus...
Draws tons of attention at the range, which I'm guessing most of you would not like...
If slap in a 32 rnd mag, start poping off by the time I'm done with the 1st mag everyones looking.. By the time I'm about halfway though the second mag there are people lining up at the bench to ask, what it is, is it full auto, it legal, etc.. etc....
I take mine out about 2-3 times a year at most... Or when one of my buddies goes to the range with me thats never seen it...

I have learned how it shoots and I can do supprisingly well with it... I sorta wish I had another one that was a side cocker and had the sight rails on top... Or rails under the front somehow... I'd like to add a Laser Devices OTAL to it...
The Rifle one, might be neat with an Eotech on it....

As far as mine, as it sits, it would be the one of my very last choices as a go to gun for Home Protection or Battle...

That said, I would be really interested in trying out that .45 Carbine Short Rifle though... I wonder if thats sold under Pistol, Rifle, NFA, etc...???

I had the chance to shoot the full-auto version called the Mac-9. It was fun to shoot. If I wanted a submachine gun in 9mm I would go with the Mac or the S&W Model 76. It is quite the bullet hose...

I also owned the semi-auto version in pistol and carbine form called the Cobray M11/9 for a while. They need a forward pistol grip to control in full or semi-auto...and you can forget trying to aim it with the iron sights, it's strictly point-and-shoot.

They do attract gang-banger types at the gun shows, and I found that some my fellow exhibitors got a little PO'ed when I sold one to a "person of color".

The question is, can you shoot hollow points out of it reliably?

I shot a weapon instructor's full auto MAC10 (.45ACP). He had it rigged with an M16 buttstock, which helped control it. I can't remember if it had the loop on the front to help control muzzle climb. Even with the rigid buttstock, it would definitely climb up on the target. First round - low left, second round - on target, third round - up & off to the side. In full auto, it's a great tool for having a gunfight inside a phone booth (remember those?).

But it was FUN!

The bad thing about this was that my local fun-toy dealer offered to sell me his personal Powder Springs MAC (9 or 10 - can't recall) with original Sionics suppressor for $1000 (plus xfer taxes). This was about 15 years ago. Prices have gone up just a wee bit since then. I ended up getting a suppressed Ruger MkII instead (AWC Doc Dater suppressor). Still fun...and very quiet.

Yea, mine has that screw on fake suppressor thing.. Give the front some more weight and another place for a hand hold...

Really helps out and looks cooler too...
